CAIR-NJ Rep to Speak at Student ‘Walkout for Palestine’ at Teaneck High School
(NEWARK, NJ – 11/3/2024) — On Wednesday, Dec. 4, a representative of the New Jersey chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NJ) plans to speak at a student “Walkout for Palestine” at Teaneck High School.

WHEN: Wednesday, Dec. 4, 1:30 p.m.
WHERE: At the Flagpole, Teaneck High School, followed by a march to Town Hall
“By exercising their First Amendment right to peacefully protest, the students of Teaneck High School are standing up for human rights and justice,” said CAIR-NJ Executive Director Selaedin Maksut. “This walkout not only highlights the importance of free speech and civic engagement, but it also demonstrates the students’ commitment to advocating for the rights and dignity of Palestinians and everyone around the world.”
