Yasmine Mohamed is currently an undergraduate student at Baruch College double majoring in economics and business journalism with honors. She is passionate about social justice and has worked at numerous marketing firms and is an aspiring journalist and data scientist.
Laila Ahmed
I am a rising Junior at Rutgers University pursuing a double major in Public Health and Information Technology (ITI) with a minor in English. As someone who has always been enveloped in a majority Muslim community Alhamdulillah and passionate about advocacy work and community service, I felt that CAIR was the place to combine my two interests and serve the greater Muslim ummah in an effective manner. With that in mind, I hope to further my education by attending Law School in the future, Insha Allah!
Mohamed Elshekh
Meet Mohamed Elshekh, our Funds Development Intern! Mohamed is currently a graduate student at Seton Hall University pursuing his M.B.A and his M.A. in International Relations. His passion for civil rights and activism led him to pursue an internship with CAIR-NJ. Mohamed also enjoys helping Muslims across the state of NJ learn about and protect their constitutional rights!
