Graphic Design


Adil Abdullah is a rising senior at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), majoring in Information Technology. He currently serves as a Graphics Design Intern at CAIR NJ, where he leverages his passion for social media, content creation, and marketing.

Adil has held significant leadership roles, including serving as a Shura member and Dawah Coordinator for the NJIT Muslim Student Association (MSA). He is actively involved in various non-profit Muslim organizations and masjids, demonstrating his commitment to community service and youth activism.

As a dedicated member of the Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA), one of the largest grassroots Muslim Dawah organizations, Adil plays a pivotal role. He serves as the president of the MUNA Youth NJ North Sub-chapter and contributes to several roles in both the Zonal and National committees.

In addition to his organizational commitments, Adil teaches Islamic Studies at a local masjid weekend school and works as a part-time substitute teacher at Paterson Public Schools. His dedication to youth organization and activism is evident through his extensive involvement and leadership in various capacities.

Rufiashley Moranchel

Rufiashley Moranchel is a Junior at Rutgers University – Newark, majoring in Graphic Design. She is passionate about visual storytelling and bringing ideas to life through design.

Rufiashley is excited to continue to contribute to CAIR-NJ’s content creation and advocacy efforts through graphics and other mediums.

Safia Khattak

Safia Khattak is a dedicated rising senior at Kean University, majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Psychology. She co-founded Khidma SIA, a 501(c)(3) nationally recognized nonprofit organization driven by dynamic young service leaders who contribute to the development of innovative ideas, events, and programs. Khidma’s mission is to foster community growth, service, and volunteerism. In addition to her academic and nonprofit commitments, Safia actively volunteers with Young Muslims where she is dedicated to empowering the youth. She is enthusiastic about returning to CAIR-NJ as a Graphic Design Intern, where she will continue her involvement in civil rights advocacy work.
